While at The avian nutrition conference in Hanover Germany 2007 Vita Kraft, the largest bird supply company in Europe said they have seen a 30% down turn in birds and bird related products.

An informal questioning at NAVC 2008 and some personal contacts shows a similar but less dramatic drop in the USA avian practice economics.

I just attended 2007 fall seminar for one of the largest practices in the world and that is not their experience in their dog and cat practice.

I would like to start a dialog on growing the avian practice in the USA. I would suggest we start with chapter one from CAM now posted free on this site. I’ll review some ideas the winners are using and see what we can come up with.
